Happy New Year 2015!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope this morning finds you all filled with fond memories from 2014 and brimming with anticipation for the year to come.

I just wanted to take a moment before moving full steam ahead to share a few of my favorite images captured in the past 12 months. I do apologize for leaving those of you hanging who regularly follow this blog, and for the complete absence of entries as of late. To be entirely honest, I’ve had some health concerns the past few months that really stole my focus and kind of sent me spiraling into a depressive funk.  While I don’t care to delve any deeper into details, a battery of tests haven’t been able to reveal anything of major concern and my symptoms have improved, so now I’m trying hard to just shake it all off and put this rough stretch behind me.

I do plan to pick up soon where I left off with entries from my trip last fall, and I’ve made some moves meant to allow me to focus more energy on my photography and writing this year than ever before. Hopefully that materializes with strides toward long-standing goals in both fields and I look forward to sharing my work with those of you who have found the patience to stick with me for this long.

That said, I wish all the best for you and yours in 2015. May it be a year filled with good health, beautiful scenery, and loads of adventure in store!
